Neutral Path Communications Acquires Infinity Fiber; Extends Reach to Chicago, South Bend, Indianapolis and Beyond
MANKATO, MN (September 25, 2017) – Neutral Path Communications, the Midwest’s premier provider of fiber optic transport facilities, announced today it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Infinity Fiber, LLC. The Infinity highly-coveted fiber network runs from Indianapolis to South Bend, before it jogs west to Chicago. In South Bend, the network provides connectivity through Global Access Point’s Union Station Technology Center, which offers access to world-class tenants. The Union Station outstanding operational team, unique service stack and location, next to a large fiber-optic corridor along the railroad, has helped it grow to one of the largest in the region and become a top 40 carrier hotel nationally.

IX-West, a Colorado not for profit company, is proud to announce the addition of Jay Hanke to its board of directors. Mr. Hanke is one of the founders of the MICE internet exchange located in Minneapolis. In addition, Mr. Hanke also founded the OmahaIX exchange located in Omaha, Nebraska.
Mr. Hanke serves as CTO at Neutral Path Communications, a regional long-haul transport provider with facilities between Minneapolis, Omaha and Denver.
IX-West expects to start exchanging traffic early in Q4 this year at an initial location in the Denver Gas & Electric building. The building is located at 910 15th Street in downtown Denver.
