The new link runs from Neutral Path’s main line at 1623 Farnam in Omaha to the highly-coveted Netrality Properties data center at 1102 Grand in Kansas City.
Netrality’s 1102 Grand data center is well positioned in the geographical center of the US and offers connectivity to 42+ network operators. It’s also home to the Kansas City Internet Exchange (KCIX), which is at 29 members and growing. It has been a busy summer for Mankato-based Neutral Path. MINNEAPOLIS, MN – January 3, 2017 – Neutral Path Communications, a premier provider of high-capacity communications transport services, continues to expand their network with the launch of their newest Point of Presence (PoP) at ViaWest’s Minneapolis Data Center. This is Neutral Path’s fifth PoP in the MSP metro.
“We are seeing a great demand among our customers for Ethernet services into these data centers as businesses continue to outsource data center services,” commented Neutral Path’s Chief Strategy Officer, Tony Frentz. The new connectivity provides direct access to the Neutral Path MSP1 site located in Belle Plaine, MN. This new interconnect allows network traffic to bypass the congested downtown Minneapolis.
